Indian Premier League as such it is called is just a show to monetize from this cricket crazy nation.
But why cant IPL wait for our election to get over? Cricket assumes greater proportion in this nation than in any other nation. Dont they (IPL Commitee) know that 2009 is an year of election, during which they could have scheduled the matches accordingly, they knew about election in 2008 itself, so blaming time to schedule their matches in South Africa as a last minute step, definitely gets thumbs down in India. Instead of naming this years IPL as IPL2, they should have named it SAPL(South African Premier League) accordingly when they decided to play their matches in South Africa......Indians love cricket, but when that is played nearby, every indian loves it.....
